Leicester Stained Glass Appreciation Group

Stained glass windows are as fascinating to look at as paintings; it is really just another form of art. They are usually found in churches but quite a lot of secular buildings have them as well. If you would like to find out more, such as what the window is telling you, who designed it and who made it, then come to our very friendly group. One is an indoor meeting with talks and the other is a field visit when we visit 2 churches. During the summer months we have coach outings to visit churches and cathedrals which have interesting windows.
